When Tendler Dental Surgery was first established over 20 years ago, the goal was to afford the local community a dentist in Melbourne that was affordable, accessible, highly qualified and offered a range of services to patients of all ages. Dr Samuel Lawrence
Dr Samuel Lawrence -BDSc (Melb.) Dental Surgeon
Dr Sam Lawrence graduated from Melbourne University in 1990. He has been working as a general practitioner at our East Hawthorn clinic since 1991.
He has been treating families in the area for twenty years now and has enjoyed offering continuity of care to all his patience.
Dr Lawrence is interested in all aspects of dental treatment with a particular interest in restorative dentistry. He continues his professional development through continuing dental education.
Dr Bill Sergakis
Dr Bill Sergakis -BDSc (Melb.) Dental Surgeon
Dr Segakis joined our team in 1997. Dr Sergakis was born in Melbourne and graduated from Melbourne High School with honors and he went on to graduate from school of Dental Sciences at Melbourne University.
He continues his education in developing new skills and new technologies. Dr Sergakis has two young children and enjoys the variety that general family dentistry offers, but maintains a keen interest in cosmetic and restorative work.
When not at work, he is always surrounded by his vast extended family, always at some event, but also enjoys the quiet times in his garage tinkering away on odd jobs or old classics.
Dr Paul Aulakh
Dr Paul Aulakh -BDSc(Hons.) (Melb.) Dental Surgeon
Dr Paul Aulakh holds a Bachelor of Dentistry (with Honours) from The University of Melbourne. Dr Aulakh has several dental affiliations and has published scientific articles for the Australian Dental Research Foundation and other scientific bodies; Dr Aulakh continues his professional development through continuing dental education.
Dr Aulakh's areas of special interest are in oral surgery including wisdom teeth removal, general teeth removal and implant surgery.
Currently Dr Aulakh is also an instructor at leading implant courses taught in Melbourne.
Ms Robyn Watt
Ms Robyn Watt -Practice Manager
ADA Victoria Branch – Credit - DAA Certificate - Distinction
Robyn holds a certificate III in dental assisting and has over thirty years experience in the dental industry and continues to attend courses which involve keeping her up to date with ongoing changes in the field as well as personal self development.
Robyn’s goal is to encourage the public to be aware of the importance of regular dental visits to improve oral health and provide excellent customer service.
Interests include AFL football – GO BLUES, retail therapy and dog breeding and showing.
Ms Lia Ardeleam
Ms Lia Ardelean -Dental Assistant
Lia joined the team at Tendal Dental in August 2010 and has four years experience as a dental assistant.
Lia is an excellent chairside assistant making patients feel at ease and comfortable in the dental chair. She has undertaken continuing short courses in order to keep her up to date with changing infection control standards.
Ms Christina Theofanis
Ms Christina Theofanis - Receptionist / Dental Assistant
Christina has been part of the team at Tendler Dental since Febuary 2011 with 4yars experince in the dental field. She is currently keeping busy by studying business and marketing via correspondance and recently caught the travel bug.
Christina is a strong believer in dental hygeine and likes to express the importance of regular dental check-ups.
